I want that there is a lecture after
the morning (Subh) prayer at the Shahada Mosque (Masjid Syahadat) which is
still a design of the Betterpad-Ray (Benteng Terpadu Raya / Great Integrated Fortress)
model/maquette. This lecture was conducted in the main prayer room by the lecturer to
the worshipers of the Shahada mosque which is expected to still be willing to
listen to the lecture. The worshipers are free to want to take part in the
lecture or not. If indeed there is an important matter that is immediately
carried out, it is better to do it immediately. The fajr lecture that I
expected had a duration of 30 minutes. The purpose of the fajr lecture is for
the worshipers to obtain religious knowledge and fill the beginning of the day
with useful knowledge so that the mind is clearer and more enthusiastic in
carrying out the next activity. Within a week, Islamic lectures were divided
into seven kinds of fields of knowledge taught every day, namely Moral, Family,
National and State Life, Al Qur'an and Hadith, Jurisprudence (Fiqh), Islamic
History, and the relationship between Islam and Science and Technology.
The Knowledge of Aqidah Akhlak
(Moral) was discussed on Monday. This knowledge studies the faith in Islam and
its application in the form of morals and deeds. This knowledge is important to
be taught because it is the basic things in Islam. In Islam, the most
emphasized is the belief in Allah is the Almighty God and Prophet Muhammad was
the Messenger of Allah who brought the message. A Muslim must truly believe in
Allah and in accordance with His revelation, namely in the Qur'an. This
includes faith in His angels, Holy Books, Prophets, End Times, and Qadha and
Qadar. Then a Muslim must not worship other than Allah because he must believe
that Allah is the only Creator God and who deserves worship and is asked for
help. Then, a Muslim must also have noble character and always try to do good
in this life according to Islamic teachings. Because it is noble is a real
manifestation of the faith of a Muslim. In essence, faith is believed by the
heart, spoken orally, and realized by deeds.
Family knowledge was discussed on
Tuesday. This knowledge can include how the relationship between family members
according to Islamic teachings, how the attitude between family members, then
the rights and obligations of each family member. For children, the first and
foremost education comes from home or family. The family is the smallest group
in life which is an important foundation in the religious life of mankind. If
family life is carried out properly, then God willing, in a wider scope of life
it can also be carried out properly according to Islamic teachings.
The national and state knowledge are
discussed on Wednesday. This knowledge discusses how to live in nations and
countries according to Islamic teachings, both by the people and the
government. In this case it does not discuss the system of government or form
of state, but how this aspect is carried out according to Islamic teachings.
For example, a people must obey the government as long as it is still in
accordance with Islamic teachings, the government must be able to provide
prosperity for the community, and so on.
The Qur'an and Hadith are discussed
on Thursday. This knowledge discusses the main legal basis in Islam which is
very important to learn, because various aspects of Muslim life must be sourced
from these two sources. Things discussed can be related to the understanding
and function of the Qur'an and Hadith, because the descent of the verses, about
hadith, and the arguments (dalil) regarding a problem.
Jurisprudence (Fiqh) was discussed
on Friday. This knowledge discusses procedures, rules, or Shari'a in various
matters according to the teachings of Islam. This can involve worship and
activities of human life. In matters of worship, the knowledge of Fiqh must be
known by every Muslim so that his worship is qualified and valid. Fiqh also
regulates human life so that it always carries out goodness in accordance with
Islamic law and away from various prohibitions from Allah SWT which if done can
lead to sin and various other ugliness.
Islamic History is discussed on
Saturday. This knowledge studies various stories and events that have occurred
in the past using reliable sources. The Qur'an is the main source in which also
various previous stories that can be a lesson for humanity today. Likewise with
stories originating from reliable hadith also used as a source of learning in
the present. Islamic history can also be derived from stories or other credible
evidence, such as buildings, old stories, places, etc.
Relations between Religious with
Science and Technology are discussed on Sunday. Today is the modern age when
the development of technology and
information media is running rapidly. All of these have positive and
negative impacts, especially for Muslims. Therefore, every Muslim must be able
to sort, choose, and filter out what things can be used and what should be
avoided according to Islamic teachings.

the Betterpad-Ray (Benteng Terpadu Raya / Great Integrated Fortress) model/maquette, can
