In making a building, in this case
is a mosque, after all planning work has been completed, then the next activity
is implementation. The work can be started by making preparations in advance on
the location of the land to be built by the mosque.
Preparatory work can be done if the
drawing and the licensing process have been completed. Preparatory work is work
that has not carried out physical development. The work done is supporting work
and work that facilitates physical work, including work on site cleaning,
installation of building board (bouwplank), and making of warehouses or beds.
God willing, if the design of the
Syahadat Mosque (Masjid Syahadat) from the Betterpad-Ray Mockup (Benteng
Terpadu Raya / Great Integrated Fortress "Mural Wall") can be realized,
then the construction preparation process will be carried out well so that the
construction runs smoothly. In realizing the plan, preparation is important so
that everything is available, easy to do, and the main process runs smoothly.
The preparation process needs to be done well and carefully so that work can be
done according to expectations and goals. In preparation, from the basic things
to the details that need to be implemented properly.
The cleaning of the location is
carried out mainly on the land that will be built on the mosque. In this work,
the land is cleared of grass and wild plants and rocks so as not to interfere
with subsequent work so that the construction process can run smoothly. God
willing, for the design of the Shahada Mosque in Betterpad-Ray, the location
cleaning process can be done properly and correctly.
The tools used for site cleaning
must be well prepared, especially daily cleaning tools such as broom sticks to
clean up annoying rubbish, can be leaves, plastic, wood, and so on. All the
garbage is collected somewhere and can be burned. Actually leaf waste can also
be made into compost if there are tools. Trash can also be collected to be
transported by janitors to be taken to Landfills, especially plastic waste.
Canned cans, glass, or hard plastic can be collected to be given to collectors
of used goods, later it can be made into other objects or become works of art.
Grasses and wild plants can be
removed by removing them and being collected in a place that is not disturbing.
Revoked wild plants are usually in the form of shrubs of medium size. In
addition, it could be that in choosing land there were still large trees.
Usually the trees will be cut down just because the building will be erected
right at the location of the trees. In the environmental aspect, of course this
is a bad action. In this case, it can make buildings on a land by not cutting
down all existing trees as much as possible by paying attention to aspects of
the entrance, good layout, the importance of building forms, and the existence
of trees as natural elements that shade and produce oxygen.
Rocks are also things that can
disrupt the process of building a mosque. It is imperative that the land to be
made by the building must be clean and flat without any rocky bumps. These
stones can be transported in wheelbarrows and placed in a safe and unobtrusive
place. Actually there is another case that the building that is going to be
built is to replace the old building (renovation) so that the old building must
be destroyed. The remnants and debris of the destroyed buildings were taken and
disposed of / put into a place until the renovation land of the mosque became
clean and flat. Usually the parts that are still intact and can be used such as
roof truss, tiles, wood on the sills, etc. can be stored for other purposes.
The preparatory work before starting
the construction was making beds and making building board (bouwplank).
Bouwplank is a handyman tool for making building elbows (900) and floor
heights. Usually bouwplank is made from a board or casso beam installed 1 meter
outside the plan to be made so that it is not damaged or uncovered when
extracting the soil for the foundation. Usually bouwplank will be dismantled if
the Sloof concrete casting work has been carried out. In addition bouwplank can
also be considered as the boundary of the mosque building area that is being
built with the place of materials and processing by the workers, such as making
mortar. Usually in the building area there is a building and yard. The location
of work other than the part of the land where the mosque is located is usually
the courtyard of the building or yard. But there are also those who put the
material and work on the land or next to the land because of the insufficient
size of the land. No need for good wood for making bouwplank. The important
thing is the wood is straight and properly installed so that the shape of the
building is also right. Once finished, bouwplank wood can be used for other
purposes.
The beds is built as a place to rest
workers and storage material, so it can also be called a warehouse. This place
can be made from caso frame with a cover wall made of plywood or zinc waves.
The minimum size is 3 x 4 m, of course such a small size for a small mosque
building. Beds can be built inside the construction area or outside the land if
not enough. The bigger the building that will be made, of course the more
materials needed and the workers, so the beds that are made must also be
bigger. During breaks, workers can rest and take shelter in beds by sharing the
available needs. The location of eating and drinking workers is also in beds.
For worship needs, you can make beds or tents that are always kept clean and
provided temporary ablution places nearby. The base of the tent can be a clean
mat so that workers can comfortably worship. Inside the beds will also be given
various facilities, such as tables, chairs, clocks, radios, and even television
as a source of information. Snacks and beverage containers are also provided there
according to the schedule. In addition, other warehouse need to be made as a
place to store material arranged according to the type and use. Warehouse for
storage can be a fairly closed place and there are locks. If necessary, hidden
surveillance cameras can be installed for security and supervision. God
willing, if the construction of the Betterpad-Ray Mockup is realized, it can be
done well by maintaining and using material well, then the workers will be
given comfort and decent wages.
There is no need to make beds with
good shapes, the important thing is strong, clean, neat and comfortable.
Although beds are only temporary buildings, they need to be built in a strong
way so they don't collapse easily and are not a hassle. Erratic weather such as
strong winds can knock down beds that are not strong. Cleanliness must always
be maintained so that workers can rest comfortably and happily. The neat
warehouse make places for building materials and places where workers belong
easily to be located and found. Convenience is also an important thing, such as
good lighting, shade, smooth air circulation, sufficient beds that make workers
move freely, and so on.
This is the article from me.
Hopefully the design of the Shahada Mosque (Masjid Syahadat), which is part of
the Betterpad-Ray (Benteng Terpadu Raya / Great Integrated Fortress) model, can
inspire and be realized. Aamiin. Sorry if there is an error especially in this
article.
