During the month of Ramadan, there
are some mosques which are given various decorations to welcome the coming of
the holy month. Ramadhan mosque decorations are made and installed so that the
atmosphere of Ramadhan is more pronounced. Ornaments at mosques also make the
appearance of mosques more beautiful and not boring. People also like to see
mosques so they are interested in entering mosques and worshiping in them.
Decorations in the mosque can be in the form of objects related to the fasting
month and can also be written to welcome Ramadan. The decoration must be made
nice, beautiful, and give the impression of Ramadan. The medium can also vary
and does not damage the mosque even if it is just a scene. I have a concept for
decoration at the Shahada Mosque (Masjid Syahadat) (design), part of the
Betterpad-Ray (Benteng Terpadu Raya / Great Integrated Fortress) model.
The decoration that can be found
during the month of Ramadan in mosques is a prayer of fasting greetings. These
sayings can vary, for example "Marhaban ya Ramadhan", "Happy
Performing Fasting Service", and others. These words can be added to other
information, for example the Hijri Year. The greeting can also be given an
additional statement to appear different from the others, give advice, and make
speech longer, for example "Purify yourself in the holy month",
"May Our Worship Get Blessings", "Let's Do Good in the Holy
Month", and etc. This greeting can be written on certain media with the
size of writing that can be seen from a distance of at least 10 meters (in my
opinion) if on a banner or running text. As for the size of the writing on the
MMT banner with cantilever can be adjusted.
At the Shahada Mosque (Masjid
Syahadat) in Betterpad-Ray, banners can be placed on the front of the porch
(mosque entrance) which can be hung on the roof or attached to the wall above
the entrance. For ballast, we can use ballast that is beautiful and made of
certain metals. Banners that are installed have the dominant colors of green,
yellow, blue or white. In my opinion these colors are in accordance with the
atmosphere of Ramadan. The color between the writing and the background must be
contrasted so that it can be read clearly from a considerable distance, for
example yellow writing with a green background. In addition to writing, banners
also have a background with certain images (such as the shadow of a mosque,
drum) and may not be too much so that the writing can still be read clearly.
The use of banners is usually only used at one moment and for another moment
must make a new one. In addition, banners can also be torn.
Running text is one of the right
things for the concept of decoration at Shahada Mosque (Masjid Syahadat) at Betterpad-Ray.
The use of running text makes the mosque have a modern impression and keep up
with the times and technology. Running text can be installed on the walls of
the mosque and should be installed on the wall between the main prayer room and
the porch. There are running text with LED lights and some are Red Green Blue
Full Color. Running text with LED lights usually has a red writing in the form
of a collection of small lights that make up the writing. Posts on running text
LED can run sideways (such as news posts running on the screen below the TV),
from the bottom up or vice versa, and can immediately change the writing. In
addition to being more modern, durable, and created, running text is used
because the text displayed is longer than the size of the running text board
and the words are many, so the writing must run. In addition, there are also
Full Color RGB Running Texts that have various colors and the results are also
smoother than the LED light board. Both types of running text can also form certain
objects such as logos, but the results on the LED light board look rough. The
use of Running Text has a weakness, which can increase the cost of electricity
usage.
A MMT banner with cantilever can be
installed on the floor on the Shahada Mosque (Masjid Syahadat) foyer at
Betterpad-Ray. According to my concept, the MMT banner position does not
interfere with worshipers while worshiping, especially so as not to read it. So
maybe I'll put it in the back porch. The writing on the MMT banner can usually
be a number of sentences and indeed only to be seen up close, so the writing
can be small. Use of MMT banners with cantilever is not used for viewing from a
distance.
This is the article from me.
Hopefully the design of the Shahada Mosque (Masjid Syahadat), which is part of
the Betterpad-Ray (Benteng Terpadu Raya / Great Integrated Fortress) model, can
inspire and be realized. Aamiin.
