Tadarus Al Qur'an is one of the
worship practices that are often performed in the month of Ramadan as an
activity to obtain blessings and rewards multiplied in the holy month. Some
people assume that the tadarus Qur'an is merely reading the Qur'an like the
tartil during the month of Ramadan.. Reading the Qur'an is the most basic thing
in tadarus, but the true understanding is more than that. Tadarus comes from
the basic Arabic word "darasa" which means learning. So tadarus Al
Qur'an is to read and study the contents of the Qur'an as a living guide and
the main legal basis by Muslims. In addition to reading in Arabic, Muslims
should be able to know the meanings of the verses of the Qur'an, their
meanings, the causes of the came of the verses, etc. which are related. The
point is to read, understand, appreciate, and realize in action.
In the month of Ramadan, the tadarus
Qur'an activity does increase from the usual days. They can do it at home or at
the mosque. At the mosque during Ramadhan, you can find people who read the
Qur'an and there is a mosque that plays the voice of someone reading the Qur'an
with loudspeakers to be heard by people outside the mosque. Usually this is
done at night after the tarawih prayer, after dawn prayer, or late afternoon
before sunset. Sometimes in the villages, what is heard is the voice of a boy.
Tadarus Al Qur'an can be done anytime and anywhere that is important in a
sacred place and in a sacred condition.
Sometimes there are people who have
a target during the month of Ramadan to recite (complete) Qur'an reading as
much as 30 juz in a minimum of one month. But there is also a story that
someone is able to complete 30 juz in just a few days, one day, or even more
than once a day. There are also those who memorize the verses of the Qur'an. This is a positive activity carried out by Muslims as proof of
love for the Qur'an. The Shahada Mosque (Masjid Syahadat) design from the
Betterpad-Ray (Benteng Terpadu Raya / Great Integrated Fortress) model has one
purpose, namely as a place for Muslims to read or tadarus the Qur'an well and
comfortably. And it is hoped that the Qurʻan tadarus activities will not only
be carried out during the month of Ramadan, but also in other months, even
though the worship activities in Ramadan are more diligent.
Muslims outside of Arabia can find
out the meaning of the Qur'an verses with the translation book. Now there are
many Al-Qur'an translations with various appearances. And there are also other
additional explanations such as the interpretation of verses, tajwid
(essentially how to read Arabic letters properly and correctly), because the
verses come down, and so on. There are even uses of technology such as the use
of tools such as ballpoint pens that can recite the Qur'an by pointing to the
verse for beginners or converts (muallaf). All of these methods are good and
must be with good intentions and goals. And the Shahada Mosque in Betterpad-Ray
will provide a large number of Qur'an books, including translations, which are
read by visitors and must be returned. The books will be arranged neatly on a
shelf and grouped based on their appearance to be beautiful.
In addition to reading the Qur'an
individually, studying the Qur'an can be done with other people. They can read
the Qur'an together and can teach each other and justify each other with
friends. They can also discuss the meaning of the Qur'an verses and should be
together with religious teachers. God willing, there will be religious teachers
in Shahada Mosque (Masjid Syahadat) from Betterpad-Ray who are willing to teach
and deliver knowledge about the Qur'an. The Qur'an teaching activities in
Ramadhan can be done in the afternoon while waiting for the time to break the
fast or at night after the tarawih prayer in congregation. Possibly the room
used is the Shahada Mosque foyer or the back of the main prayer room.
This is the article from me.
Hopefully the design of the Shahada Mosque (Masjid Syahadat), which is part of
the Betterpad-Ray (Benteng Terpadu Raya / Great Integrated Fortress) model, can
inspire and be realized. Aamiin.
